In the past, most villagers who lived at Ban Nai, Tambon Thabkwang, Amphur Kaengkoi, Saraburi province, worked in the nearby communities. Housewives would stay home to take care of children and the houses. Many people had a lot of spare time, but very little income. They were trying to generate more income by selling Thai desserts or handicrafts. But their business wasn’t all that successful because there was no supporting market. The situation was even worse for some villagers who couldn’t do any work as they had never been trained to do anything.
